Do you want to have your mic on or not?

1) Try buying a good quality mic for a decent price.

2) Mute your mic when you're not talking.

3) Make sure you have the latest drivers for your mic.

The wind is a part of a set ambiance.

When your character is not talking dont mute it

just make the volume 50%.

Hope that helped

Most mics don't have a 50% volume button, a mute button much more common. Adding faint background music can add to the 'set of ambiance'.
