Anyway I'm wondering is there anyway Of getting rid of Lag, because im editing on sony vegas 32bit Playing it on Draft(Auto) And theres just so much lag,  I have 2GB of ram if that helps? -

I never edit with more than 3 things open,  MSN, Vegas, And an internet browser pretty much, so i dont understand why theres so much lag? - help me out?

I believe if you click on Preferences then Video tab you can set the Dynamic RAM Preview max setting higher to allow you to preview render more at a time, which should lower some of the editing lag you're seeing.

You could also try changing the video preview type, maybe from Best Full, to Draft Auto, or something. If your video preview is still lagging, try using a RAM preview, by selecting your work area, and pressing Shift + B.

I would attach screen shots, but I'm currently on holiday, and I'm not at my home computer. ;)

Woo for 100th!

Yea I was having the same issue with lag when I was making my film fest video, and I just struggled through it =P I can't wait to try any one of these methods to see how much easier my life could have been.

quad core cpu had all 4 cores maxed, I was watching the meters on my logitech g19, it made me sad for my pc.
