There is a problem in the layer bit of my sony vegas pro 9... i was doing a intro from bra productions on youtube, and when i moved my text into the second layer and cross effected it with the one on the top layer, the one in the second layer could not be viewed, for instance, second layer sais, bra production and then 5 seconds into it it cross effects into presents, the bra production is just a black screen and it doesnt say that.

Really really need some help anyone have any ideas please say :/

Did you set the background colour of the text to transparent??

or is it black?

Cuase if it's black you cant see through it.

So, your second text layer, is directly under the first text layer? If there were a layer between text 1, and text 2 (like a swirl, or something), then this may be blocking vision to text 2. So simply drag the layer between text 1 and text 2 below text 2, so then it should read from top to bottom:

Text 1, Text 2, Swirl.

the problem is not that, the layer also blocks backgrounds... so if a swirl is on it doesnt affect the background but for this the background can not be seen

Try deleting the layer and remaking it.
