Just for your information, the in / out feather options would've come in handy were u NOT an idiot. As long as you know how to use it, trust me, it's helpful. What your doing is called masking, you dont need that many points, you might want to do some research before you do a tutorial. Sony Vegas can not and will not match After Effects(I work with both).
You should check out some AMV tutorials.
